Summer destination: Milos.
Photo diary: The beaches.
Endless blue sky, deep blue & sapphire waters, bright sun, white sand, white edgy rocks. In a few words, white & blue, the colors of the Greek summer. This time I enjoyed it to the max as Milos is one of the most beautiful islands I’ve ever been to. A combination of sandy beaches or rocky ones, deep blue waters or turqoise. It felt like heaven on earth. Extra plus: the great food and handmade ice cream which I ate a lot (lol). I won’t say more because words surely cannot describe the beauty of this island (but pictures can).
Sarakiniko: Looks like a magical moonscape and with its white rocks this beach stands proud against the sapphire waters of the sea. Formed by volcanic rocks, Sarakiniko is considered one of the most beautiful and photographed beaches in Milos. It’s the most famous beach on the island so it gets really crowded. We wanted to take pictures before that, so we woke up really early, watched the amazing sunrise on the beach and started shooting. It felt amazing being there just the two of us.
